Sam had woken up Michael at 5 am and by the time we woke up at 6, they had already been playing for an hour. Michael is probably the Vest family member that Sam has seen the most since birth. He visits us often and has traveled with us in the past. We didn't think Sam would remember him but he did and they were instant friends. Both Sam and Andy took to Michael very well. Sam asks for Michael almost every day. He hopes to see him again soon.

Michael's birthday was on Aug 8th so we celebrated with dinner and a cake. It was great to celebrate his special day with him and Grandpa Randy.

Grandpa Randy would read to Sam out on the back porch. Sam liked sitting on the steps with Grandpa.
Grandpa Randy decided to pull weeds and Sam wanted to help. It was very cute. He is a great helper!
Michael had to return back home after a couple of days so Grandpa Randy stayed an extra week and then Grandma Joycelyn came to pick him up. They both spent last weekend with us and left on Monday. We plan to see them again in a few weeks when we travel to Utah for Labor Day.
Tomorrow is Sam's birthday. I will add more pictures and updates then. We've been so busy planning his birthday party and his birthday trip (we leave for Disneyland next week!)
