Splendor in the Grass!

Last Sunday we took Sam to a park with the Massey's (with Collette), Sissy & Richie. Richie's kids fell asleep in the car so they didn't get to play with Sam. Tiffany Massey-Bingham had her kids with her (Jack is 3 and Ray is 1). Sam enjoyed playing with Ray. The only problem was that Sam loves ears!! He kept trying to grab Ray's ear which Ray did not like (mainly because Sam's nails are too long so it hurts when he grabs your ear). Sam grabbing your ear means he likes you. Ray was too young to understand that. One day when they are older and close friends, it will be fun to tell them the story of Sam chasing Ray through the grass trying to grab his ear! We are lucky Sam is a very gentle and kind boy. If you think about it, his only friend is a 31 year old boy (Ryan) who loves to be rough and tumble with Sam. I realized by seeing Sam interact with a child for the first time that he's going to be good with friends and quite social.
