Sam has had a fun weekend. For his birthday, we (mom and dad) gave him a little pool and a car we can push him around in. He's been enjoying them so much. The only problem with the pool is that Sam enjoys to stand not sit. Even in the tub, he likes to stand. He very rarely sits down. In a pool, it's kind of important that you sit down in order to enjoy the water, but that doesn't stop Sam. He has fun splashing his feet and falling on his bum from time to time. As for his car, he's obviously going to have a love for speed like his mom. His dad terrorizes Grandma Nancy as he pushes Sam throughout the house taking sharp corners and chasing Grandma. Sam loves every minute of it! Ryan and I also bought Sam lots of clothes, mostly pajamas. He now has Superman pajamas, Pirate pajamas and frog pajamas. We can't wait to see him in them (but they are winter Pj's so we'll have to wait a bit).More soon...

hi guys! What fun it has been to read of all the festivities to commemorate Sam's first year! I know that first haircut wasn't easy...but he's still cute as ever! I love the pics of Sam and his daddy in the star wars fort! We miss you guys, but are counting down until D.C.! =)
