This has been a four day weekend for the Vest family. Ryan was off work yesterday, and we spent the day in Carson City. Today we're having a movie marathon at home and enjoying some all-American home cooking. Grandma Nancy is making cheeseburgers with all the fixings, homemade Ketchup, homemade french fries, and a wedge salad! We plan to spend the day watching Americana movies (John Wayne in The Alamo) and enjoying each others company.
Already this morning, Sam has been enjoying a new toy. It's a lion that he can use as both a walker and rider. He's been having a blast! It's fun to see him try something new. At first he's hesitant until he figures it out then he goes for it! All in all, it's been a great day already! Happy Fourth of July, Everyone!!
