UPDATE

It's been a while since I 'blogged'. We got back from Utah to some bad news. Our kitchen had a slow, steady leak under the sink for almost six weeks. It came from our reverse osmosis machine attached to our water line. About two months ago, a serviceman came to change the filter and must have done something to cause the machine to leak. Hence, we had major damage under our sink, on our floor, our floor boards, our kitchen island, the linoleum flooring and our subflooring. To make matters worse, we developed mold so our kitchen has now been gutted and is under quarantine. It has been cordoned off from the rest of my house. We are living without a kitchen and our house sounds like an aircraft carrier from the sound of the fans and machinery clearing the mold in our kitchen. It's been awful! The good news is that we are insured AND it wasn't our fault. The Culligan company will be held responsible and all will be restored to its original form or better. We will just be without a kitchen for another month or so while they rebuild it. Luckily, our insurance is paying for us to eat out everyday; however, we live in a town with a McDonald's and a Burger King so its not been as enjoyable as it could be. I MISS MY KITCHEN AND MY MOM'S FOOD!

We spent last weekend in Sacramento and had a lot of fun. It's great to get out of this noisy house for the weekend. We stayed in this weekend but plan to go out next weekend for some fun! I'll post some new pictures soon.
