Our Weekend Trip to Folsom, CA

We had a great opportunity to visit Folsom, California this weekend as part of my travel writing adventures. The tourism bureau hosted our stay and planned our itinerary with Sam in mind. We had a great time! This was the first time we traveled that we felt that Sam had as much fun as we did. We had tickets to the zoo and to the local train ride for children. They gave us directions to the city's "Kids Park" and to the local candy shop where you can watch candy be made right on front of you! We enjoyed it all. They reserved us a two bedroom suite so that mommy, daddy and Andy had a room, grandma and Sam had their room and we had a living room with a full kitchen. We ate at some wonderful restaurants, visited a great bakery, toured the local museums (including the Folsom Prison) and much more. When we arrived at the hotel, there was even a welcome basket for Sam and Andy - in addition to the huge welcome basket for Mom and Dad. It was truly an unforgettable weekend. Folsom is now one of our favorite places. We can't wait to go back.
Enjoy the pictures!
