Sam turns 1 year old today. We have evening festivities planned. Tonight, Sam will have a birthday party. As luck would have it, all his guests will be girls (sign of times to come). He invited 3 little girls and one boy but the little boy can't make it. Sam will celebrate his first birthday surrounded by women (and his Dad).
Grandma made a cake the shape of a train and chocolate cupcakes. We will serve a little dinner of chicken salad sandwiches and chips (mostly for the adults invited). Juice for the kids, soft drinks for the adults, and candy for everyone.
Pictures will be posted tonight and commemorative cards will be mailed to you this weekend.

Happy Birthday, Sam! I love that song. We sing it almost every Sunday in Primary. Can't wait to see pictures with him and all the girls at his party.
