Last night was a tough night. Ryan was out of town for the night (had an overnight trip to Jacksonville for work) and he's Sam's sleeping companion. Sam sleeps in the middle in our bed but cuddles with his Dad most of the night. Last night, he kept caressing Ryan's pillow in his sleep. I had to capture it in a picture. It was the cutest yet saddest thing I had ever seen. He would rub the pillow like a genie hoping his dad would appear. In the middle of the night, he would wake up and whisper "dada?" It broke my heart. Luckily, dad is currently flying back home and will be here tonight. It will be a beautiful reunion filled with cuddles!
